These are brand new items produced by Southwest Speed Inc. They replace the OEM parts and work perfectly with all connecting components in the correct application.
This kit fits the Big GM power steering box, which was the stock power box on about half of these GM cars in this era. It is commonly referred to as the 700 series Saginaw box.
This box is distinct for its square, 4-bolt housing cover, as opposed to the round, ring-retained housing cover on the "Small GM Power" box. If you have the Small GM Power box, we have the kit for that box here. This kit fits the stock Big GM Power Steering Box and stock Spindles on the following cars. 1978-88 Chevy El Camino, Malibu, & Monte Carlo.
1978-81 Buick Century & Luxus. 1978-88 Oldsmobile Cutlass, F85, Vista Cruiser, 4-4-2, & Calais. Drag Link / Center Link (Part #107-232). Includes grease fittings, nuts, and cotter pins. Fits stock Big GM Power Steering boxes.
Screws on steering box shaft to secure pitman arm. Includes grease fitting and nut. 2 - Tie Rod End Adjusting Sleeves (Part #105-892). 2 - Upper Ball Joints (Part #101-017). Inlcludes grease fitting and nut.2 - Lower Ball Joints (Part #101-013). And this same kit for the Manual steering box.
